Abstract

This study aims to test financial literacy, financial efficiency on financial management. Financial literacy is all activities that can improve a person's ability in community life in financial management. One's improvement includes confidence, knowledge and skills. Literacy that needs to be supported by the existence of financial self-efficacy which can help in the action and implementation of one's changes in financial behavior in order to have a better life. The lack of understanding makes people have to be able to manage finances in their life, especially students. Students are still very dependent on the environment in which they are located. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with a sample size of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used is using SPSS version 25. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial independence has a significant effect and financial literacy has no significant effect on student financial management in Surakarta.
