Abstract

Compensation and performance are the main for the company to maintain its employee. But, some times it is hampered by workload when employees receive workload beyond their capabilities. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of moderating workload in influencing compensation on performance. The sampling techniques using non-probability sampling with a sample of 41 people. The statistical method uses partial least square (PLS) supported by SMART PLS 2.0. The results showed that compensation variables had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The hierarchy culture variables were not significant and moderating the influence of compensation on employee performance.
