HUMAN CAPITAL IN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Today's organizational challenge is responding to the shift from a focus on industrial economic problems to a knowledge economy. This short article tries to take part in the academic discourse of management science that is extracted from Islamic teachings, which are expected to inspire and enrich our knowledge in the field of management, especially human capital. This article is a qualitative discussion based on a literature review. The results of this article are that there are 5 principles of human capital management in an Islamic perspective, namely the principles of competence, optimization of competence, trust, conformity of competencies with needs, and not exceeding the ability limit.
